I am thrilled to be your child's first grade teacher. This is my 24th year of teaching. I taught my first eight years in first grade at East Montgomery Elementary, the next 15 years in first and second grade at Rossview Elementary.. I received my bachelor's in education from Austin Peay State University in 2000 and my master's in reading and literacy from Walden University in 2008. I love to read, scrapbook, play games, and spend time at lake in my free time. I look forward to teaching your child this year. Feel free to contact me any time if you have any questions or concerns.

First grade supply list below:

1 Back pack

1 dozen #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils)

1 Pair blunt scissors (fiskar-type preferred)

6 glue sticks

1 (4oz) bottle of liquid glue

4 boxes (24 count) crayons

*one box for each 9 weeks)

1 plastic school box

1 large box of tissue

1 bottle of hand sanitizer

2 plastic 3-prong pocket folders

1 package of anti-bacterial wipes

1 package of 4 dry erase markers (preferably black please)

1 package of washable markers

1 wide rule hard bound composition book

1 wide rule spiral notebook

1 headphone to use with their laptop
