Welcome to Second Grade at Rossview Elementary School! This is my 19th year teaching second grade. I received my bachelor of science degree in education from the Univ. of Tennessee at Martin and my master of arts degree in education from Austin Peay State University. My husband is an Austin Peay graduate. This will be my 14th year as a proud Rossview Hawk. I had previously taught 2nd grade at Glenellen Elementary. We have two sweet, spoiled dogs, a Pug named Cora Mae and a Cavapoo named Atticus. My husband and I enjoy spending time together on our family farm, traveling, golfing, attending church, and sporting events. I truly enjoy teaching and always look forward to a new group of smiling super second grade students! I believe in a positive learning environment where students believe they can succeed. We will have a successful school year when we all work together to do our best!

We raise our hand to speak and wait to be called on before speaking. We speak respectfully to one another.

We keep our hands, feet, and unkind words to our self. We treat others with kindness like we want to be treated.

We stay in the classroom unless given permission to leave.

We come to class prepared with assignments, supplies, and a good attitude.

We REACH for Success daily!
