My name is Mackenzie Bowers. This will be my 9th year teaching in Montgomery county. I have taught third grade for 8 years. I moved from central Illinois where I went to Eastern Illinois University. While there, I got my bachelor’s in elementary and special education. I later went back and got my master’s as a behavior specialist. I have a four year old daughter named Lily. When I am not at school I enjoy reading, running, lifting weights, and cooking. I am so excited to join the EMES family this year! I look forward to getting to know everyone!
